How to create your own garden?

A digital garden is a public website made from your notes. Instead of publishing polished blog posts only, you can publish evolving ideas, references, essays, reading notes, and linked thoughts.

Forestry.md is a hosted way to publish an Obsidian digital garden using the Digital Garden plugin. It is designed to avoid the more technical GitHub/Vercel setup: you create a garden, paste a key into Obsidian, and publish selected notes.

What You Need

• Obsidian
• An Obsidian vault with notes
• The Digital Garden community plugin
• A Forestry.md account
• A Garden Key from Forestry.md

1. Install the Digital Garden Plugin in Obsidian

Open Obsidian and go to:

Settings → Community plugins → Browse
